Anti-racism refers to actively opposing racism by advocating for equal rights and opportunities for all individuals, regardless of their race or ethnicity. In this workshop, we cover the importance of understanding the impact of racism, which can lead to discrimination, inequality, and systemic oppression. The goal of this workshop is to educate participants on the history of racism and its effects on society supporting the want to become better human beings and work towards true liberation for all.
In this workshop, we focus on the importance of unlearning racism where implicit biases will be challenged with time also focused on recognizing and addressing white privilege. It also requires actively seeking to understand and dismantle systemic racism and participating in anti-racist actions. It is a process of self-reflection, education, and action towards creating a more equitable and just society.
The grace approach is grounded in the belief that every individual is capable of experiencing grace, which is defined as the unconditional love and acceptance of oneself and others.

"Race, Class, and Gender" is a concept known as intersectionality, which refers to the interconnected nature of social categories such as race, class, gender, and other aspects of identity that shape our experiences and opportunities. The idea of intersectionality is important in the pursuit of social justice, as it recognizes the ways in which multiple forms of oppression can intersect and compound to create unique experiences of marginalization.
Anti-racist organizing involves building and strengthening communities while actively working to dismantle systems of racism. It can include a range of activities such as educating oneself and others, participating in protests and demonstrations, advocating for policy changes, and supporting marginalized communities. The goal is to create a more equitable and just society for all individuals regardless of race.
In this workshop, we address the issue of systemic racism against Black people in the workplace highlighting the ways in which anti-Black racism manifests in the workplace and the impact it has on Black employees. We cover the importance of creating safe and inclusive spaces where Black employees can voice their concerns and experiences.The workshop also provides strategies for addressing and combating anti-Black racism in the workplace. This included creating policies and procedures that explicitly address racism, providing anti-racism training to all employees, and actively recruiting and retaining Black employees. There is also emphasis placed on the importance of leadership taking an active role in creating an anti-racist workplace culture.
This workshop involves analyzing how racism is portrayed in media through stereotypes and representations. Focusing on the importance of understanding and combating these harmful portrayals of Black persons through ought history.
In this workshop, the focus would be understanding colonialism and its legacy as both are crucial in the fight against racism on a global scale. Colonialism involved the forced colonization and exploitation of people, lands, and resources by European powers. This led to the subjugation and oppression of Indigenous and African populations, resulting in systemic racism that persists to this day. Anti-racism efforts must include acknowledging and addressing the historical and ongoing impacts of colonialism.
This workshop supports efforts on healing from racial trauma which can involve both self-care and community care. Self-care can include practices such as therapy, mindfulness, and self-reflection. Community care can involve seeking support from trusted friends and family members, participating in racial justice activism, and engaging in cultural practices that promote healing and connection. It is important to prioritize healing and seek resources that can help support the process.
"Building Anti-Racist Futures" is a workshop that encourages individuals and communities to envision and work towards a society that is fair, equitable, and free from racism. It involves acknowledging and addressing the systemic and institutionalized forms of racism that exist in our current society, while actively imagining and creating a future where everyone is treated with dignity and respect regardless of their race.
